Congratulations Will. Great write ...From Facebook:
Congratulations Will. Great write up. Altitude is an unpredictable monster. An overweight, chain-smoking coach potato can head up to 10,000 feet with virtually no reaction while a trained endurance runner can go to the same altitude and experience major altitude sickness issues. It's just like life, it's not fair. Glad to hear you were able to turn your race around and have an awesome second half. It's a reflection on your training, mental prep, race strategy and perhaps, just a bit of luck. Enjoy your recovery.

Bill RamseyAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3318674573303332537.post-778963409700803062013-08-23T08:20:01.394-07:002013-08-23T08:20:01.394-07:00Great job out there!! Nervousness in general for your overall well being.
2. Worry that you would be disappointed in your results.
3. Hope that you could 'dig deep' and surge back.
4. Stress as we adjusted your splits so we would make it to the aid stations on time.
5. Pure joy seeing your headlight, then hearing your name as you crossed the finish line, safe, sound & happy (and under 24 hrs!).
What a run! We are so proud of you!
Jen, Devon & CharlotteAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3318674573303332537.post-73082166570012838222013-08-23T07:09:28.276-07:002013-08-23T07:09:28.276-07:00Will.
